Ensure materials are compatible with the fluid being conveyed. EPDM, Viton, Teflon, Neoprene, etc. gaskets are available where a higher working pressure is required. Note these are not for use with compressed air, gases or steam.
The rated working pressures of our 316 stainless camlocks at ambient temperatures are as follows: 1/2" to 2" sizes=250 PSI, 2-1/2" - 3" sizes=200 PSI, 4"= 150 PSI, and 6"=100 PSI.
